This policy explains how Parallax LLC ("Parallax", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal data of visitors to the English section of parallax.company (pages under /en/). It is written with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in mind.

1. Who is responsible

The controller is Parallax LLC, Sharjah Media City (SHAMS) Free Zone, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, license No. 2433370.01. You can reach us on WhatsApp (+420 797 805 005), Telegram (@parallax_manager) or through the contact form.

2. What data we collect

  • Data you give us: name, contact details (phone, messenger handle, email if you choose to share it), citizenship and country of residence, family composition, the countries and programs you are interested in, and anything you write in the form or in a message.
  • Analytics data (only with your consent): pages visited, clicks, device and browser type, approximate location derived from the IP address, referral source.

We do not need passport numbers, tax identification numbers or bank card details to answer an inquiry, and we ask you not to send them through the website form.

3. Why we use it and on what legal basis

  • To answer your request and prepare a consultation — steps taken at your request before a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
  • To provide the agreed services, including passing your file to a licensed partner in the relevant country — performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)); partners receive your data only for your case and only with your explicit agreement.
  • To measure how the site is used — your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)); you can withdraw it at any time.
  • To meet legal obligations and to protect our legal claims — Art. 6(1)(c) and (f).

4. Who receives the data

We do not sell personal data and do not share it for third-party marketing. Data may be processed by: licensed partners (law firms, company-formation agents) working on your case; messaging services you choose to contact us through (WhatsApp, Telegram); our server that receives form submissions and forwards them to our team; and, if you consent, Yandex Metrica (web analytics). Some of these providers are located outside the European Economic Area, including in the United Arab Emirates. Where data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on your request for our services or on other safeguards permitted by the GDPR.

5. Cookies and analytics

On the English pages, analytics cookies are off by default. Yandex Metrica is loaded only after you click “Accept analytics” in the cookie banner. If you click “Reject”, no analytics script is loaded. Your choice is stored in your browser (local storage key parallax_consent_en) and can be changed at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer.

  • Strictly necessary: your consent choice and your light/dark theme preference, stored in your browser.
  • Analytics (consent only): Yandex Metrica cookies such as _ym_uid, _ym_d and _ym_isad, used to count visits and understand navigation. Session recording is not enabled on the English pages.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. Data is transmitted over HTTPS.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. If you are in the EU/EEA, you can also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country of residence. To exercise your rights, contact us through the channels in section 1.

8. How long we keep data

We keep inquiry data only as long as needed to answer it and, if you become a client, for the duration of the service and the period required by applicable law. Analytics data is kept according to the analytics provider's retention settings.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The current version is always published on this page with the date of the last update.
